Having worked at Academy in Cobham for many years, Sophie loves creating beautiful hair. She has a loyal following, who particularly like the fabulous colour she creates with her skills on high lighting and balayage. Sophie keeps her skills up to date by attending courses at L’Oreal and other big names in the industry. When she isn’t working she loves fashion and socialising with her friends.
Sam
Sam has more than 30 years’ experience in hairdressing, having trained in Yorkshire, she moved to Guildford at 24. She has a great passion for people and making them feel good about themselves. A people person, she loves looking after her clients and giving them great hair. She enjoys colouring, perming, cutting and blow drying. She is relishing the opportunity to continue to develop her skills at both the L’Oréal and Richard Ward Academys that keeps her up to date. Sam is always smiling. When away from work she loves being creative or spends time with her children on the beach in Hayling Island.
Danielle
Danielle went straight from school to begin her career in hairdressing. She prides herself on giving each client a thorough consultation to enable everyone to leave with the hair they desire and is always keen to learn more within the profession. Danielle enjoys all aspects of hairdressing but has a great love for highlighting/balayage & beautiful blowdrys. Outside of work Danielle is a busy mum of two and enjoys fashion, good food (bread and pasta) and long walks.
Jo
Jo has over 15 years salon experience and has a loyal client following. She specialises in both colour and bespoke cuts. Jo ensures each client feels pampered, listened to and leaves feeling fabulous! She loves nothing more than bouncy curls, voluminous blow drys and creating styles for special occasions. Outside of the salon she is a mum to three lovely boys which certainly keeps her busy.
Patrick
With 40 years of hairdressing behind him and working alongside some of the best in the business including Vidal Sassoon and Trevor Sorbie, he's a perfectionist! He has a L’Oreal Colour Degree which puts him in an elite group of experts in the UK. Patrick is also one the UK Educators for Max Eli Colour. If he's not cutting hair, you'll find him cycling round the Surrey Hills!
Richard
Born and raised in South Africa, Richard has 16 years of experience in the hairdressing and is passionate about colour. After three years of intensive training and apprenticeship became a qualified stylist specialising in both Female and Male styling. Landing his first contact on a local talent TV program explored every element of hairdressing. A few years later Richard enjoyed working on cruise ships with Disney Dream and Celebrity Cruise lines followed by some time at a luxury salon in the Seychelles. This giving him knowledge on how to run a professional and luxury business devoted to giving clients an exceptional experience. Having worked in a Cobham salon a few years ago, he has again returned to Cobham.
Vicky
Vicky is the first and last point of contact for our valued clients, she will go the extra mile to maintain our high standards of customer care. Vicky has come from the corporate world and previously worked as an Executive PA for a large finance company in London. Having always had a passion for the hair and beauty industry, Vicky felt she wanted to branch out and have a total career change so joined the Baloolah team as our Front of House Receptionist. Her previous PA experience gives her the organisational skills to manage our busy salon efficiently. Outside of work Vicky is a mummy to two young children and enjoys family days out, travelling, yoga and walking.
